The Ungasan Clifftop Resort

Perched on the cliffs of Ungasan, south of Bali, this breathtaking resort features seven luxury villas, private suites, and a world-class restaurant Waatu by award-winning two-hatted chef James Viles. Please arrive 30 mins prior to allow time to find parking or locate the villa and find your seat.

Reception

Due to the venue's noise restrictions, the wedding concludes at 11.00 PM sharp. Guests staying elsewhere and not attending the after-party are recommended to pre-book their rideshare/taxi to arrive at this time.

After Party

We've saved you a priority VIP seat at the amazing Sunday's Beach Club. Be warned *NOT knee-injury friendly* - you will need to tackle a couple of flights of stairs, but you'll get to ride their cool little cable car for some of the way. ﻿Going down. Easy. Going up. Much harder!&nbsp;Bring flat shoes to wear. Stair climbing difficulty rating:&nbsp;Sober/a few drinks in - Light to mediumDrunk/in heels - Very Hard!

How far is the venue from where I'm staying?

How far is the venue from the airport?

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 35 min — 1 hour 10 min drive (18km).

These times are just an approximation, depending on traffic or unforeseen road closures, it could take much longer than expected! Note: Guests staying at The Ungasan will be provided a complimentary luxury airport transfer. IMPORTANT: Large rideshare cars or maxi taxis are limited in Bali. Large groups of guests (4+persons) with plenty of luggage staying elsewhere are recommended to organise an airport shuttle/hotel transfer via their hotel.

Rideshare Apps

We highly recommend downloading the Grab rideshare app through the <a href="https://apps.apple.com/au/app/grab-taxi-ride-food-delivery/id647268330" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">App Store</a> or <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grabtaxi.passenger&amp;pcampaignid=web_share" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Google Play</a>. AND signing up prior to arriving in Bali, as you will need a working phone number to receive a verification code when adding credit card/payment details to the app. This will enable you to easily book food delivery &amp; transportation during your stay in Bali. IMPORTANT: If you haven't pre-booked your hotel transfer/airport shuttle, be prepared to book multiple rideshares or wait a while for a larger car if you are travelling in a large group (4+persons) with plenty of luggage.

For those more adventurous travellers you could also try the Gojek app via the <a href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gojek/id944875099" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">App Store</a> or <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gojek.app&amp;pcampaignid=web_share" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Google Play</a>. But be warned, many Gojek service providers might only speak Indonesian.

Taxis

If you prefer booking a taxi please read these <a href="https://www.baliholidaysecrets.com/bali-taxi/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">tips</a> before hailing a cab for your safety. • Go with Bluebird Taksi as they are the most reputable taxi company.• Genuine Bluebird Taksi's have their logo on the side of the car &amp; drivers wear uniforms.• Beware Bluebird copycat taxis are common.• Always insist your driver use their meter or negotiate a set price before accepting a ride.• Negotiate a set price for a private driver at an airport kiosk or with your hotels assistance.• For more tips, read this <a href="https://www.baliholidaysecrets.com/bali-taxi/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">blog</a>.

Car & Motorbike Rentals

We recommend negotiating rental prices with the assistance of your hotel/Airbnb host or checking out a reputable rental kiosk at the airport for options. Be cautious when local rental businesses or street vendors approach you to rent their cars/bikes. Although they may require less paperwork or seem inexpensive, insurance policies may be vague. DO NOT agree to leave your passport or travel documents with them as a security bond/deposit. Beware: Bali's traffic is loose with road rules, heavily congested, and can be dangerous for first-time visitors.

A clean and modern 4-star aparthotel with own private balcony and a shared infinity pool, suitable for couples wanting a peaceful calm environment. Only 6 mins away from The Ungasan.

Brand new modern 1-bedroom loft villas with own kitchen and pool, situated only a 6 min drive away from The Ungasan.

The estate comprises two distinct villas: one with 5 bedrooms plus a private suite, and the other with 7 bedrooms ideal for larger groups. Only a 9 min drive to the Unagasan.
